Origin’s supported applications are captured using three integration methods — OpenTelemetry, application hooks, and API integration. In the tables below:
  • The Endpoint column lists applications captured on the endpoint, via OpenTelemetry and application hooks. These need the Origin agent installed on the device, and nothing else.
  • The API column lists applications captured through API integration. These are read from the provider’s cloud, so they cover activity on devices that aren’t running the agent — but each one needs a one-time setup in Settings.

Application support

Set up the API integrations

Endpoint capture works as soon as the agent is installed. The API-based integrations each need to be connected once from the Origin dashboard.

Anthropic Enterprise

Connect your Claude Enterprise account through Anthropic’s Compliance API to pull claude.ai and Claude Desktop activity, including from endpoints that aren’t running the agent.

Microsoft 365 Copilot

Capture Copilot prompts and responses across Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Copilot Chat by reading Microsoft’s own cloud APIs. Requires the Entra ID directory integration.

AI tools not on this list

Because Origin captures at the application layer rather than by matching network traffic, support for an application depends on that application exposing telemetry Origin can collect — an OpenTelemetry exporter, or a surface an application-level hook can attach to. Coverage is added per application rather than configured per domain. If your organization depends on an AI tool that isn’t listed above, contact Origin support with the application name and how your teams use it.
