Agents & Sessions
Every AI agent detected in your fleet — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, and others — gets its own drill-down view in Origin. Clicking an agent in the left panel scopes the entire console to that agent and reveals session-level detail you can’t see at the fleet level.

What the Agent view shows

When you select a specific agent, the center panel switches to the Agent view, showing:
  • Agent-level metrics — requests, endpoints, and sessions attributed to this specific agent
  • Activity Surface — a time-series of this agent’s activity (switchable between Active endpoints and Active sessions)
  • Session list — individual sessions that can be opened to see the full conversation trace

Step 1: Select an agent

In the left panel under AGENTS, click any agent row. The agent expands and the center panel updates to show that agent’s data. A breadcrumb at the top of the center panel confirms your current scope (e.g., Overview › Agents: Claude).

Step 2: Review agent-level metrics

The agent header shows the same three key metrics as the Overview, but scoped entirely to this agent:

Step 3: Explore the Activity Surface

The Activity Surface for an agent works the same way as the Overview chart, but shows only this agent’s traffic. Use the Active sessions tab to see session volume over time — spikes here can indicate automated workflows or unusual usage patterns.

Step 4: Break down further

Below the chart, use the Break Down By section in the left panel to pivot agent data:
  • Endpoints — see which specific machines are running this agent most heavily
  • Identities — see which users (where identity data is available) are using this agent

Step 5: Open a session

Click the Active sessions tab in the Activity Surface and then click any session row to open the Session Detail view. A session shows:
  • Session start and end timestamp
  • Total tokens consumed (input, output, cache, reasoning)
  • Model(s) used within the session
  • A timeline of individual requests within the session
Origin captures behavioral metadata — model, token counts, timestamps, and semantic fingerprints — but not the raw prompt text. The session detail view shows what was about a session, not the verbatim content.

Step 6: Navigate back to fleet view

Click Overview in the breadcrumb at the top of the center panel, or click OVERVIEW in the left panel’s Views section, to return to the fleet-wide view.
